Stopped at Middlebury IN for some homemade ice cream on the way home from MI |
It's not that I have nothing to say....
It's more like knowing where to start.
And what to leave out...
A stack of magazines read while at Barnes and Noble recently. |
From a page of one of those magazines... |
My husband's project. I can't wait to paint it with homemade chalk paint! |
So far, THIS one is only a dream... |
The first apple dumplings of the season are baked and ready for our lunch.
A friend just dropped off some leftover lasagna.
I was TRYING to think of something to supplement the dumplings
for my husband's meal.
Thank you, Kristine. Thank you, Heavenly Father.
Autumn is definitely in the air.
I think I'll light a 10 cent vanilla-scented pillar candle I found at a garage sale yesterday!
(That's right. We stumbled on garage sales on a Wednesday afternoon
along a rural route home yesterday.)
Oops. I hear the car door slam shut.
Happy that your autumn is blessed! I do love autumn, God's gifts seem so abundant!
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing that you do...read a treasure trove of home magazines while sitting in Barnes and Noble. Do you also buy decadent coffee drinks while you're there? ;-)
The table is going to look great! I am going to be keeping my eye out for a peek of it here on your blog...
Since on Fast-5 Eating Plan, I pretty much don't buy decadent coffee drinks. I just drink their (free) ice water :)
DeleteLove the table, love the quote, love the magazines, especially love ice cream, love this happy post!
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been having some Fall Fun! Good for you hon. Homemade chalk paint, how neat! Can't wait to see your finished table.
Really liked that quote about Fall being the second spring where very leaf is a flower, that is really true!! Very inciteful..............
Hope all is well with you and yours hon,
Blessings, Nellie
Have missed you, but spect you are busy enjoying this season like everyone else.
Those doors are neat...I can see them in your yard. Not sure about the chair. It seems like more and more people are starting garage sales on Wed. around where I live. By Friday and Saturday the sales are pretty much picked over. I read the magazines also at the book store. :)
ReplyDeletenot knowing where to go can lead to some interesting journeys as this post has proven! Love Di ♥
ReplyDeleteI wrote that same quote down at Barnes and Noble. I think we must like the same magazines!
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not surprised, Pamela? :)
DeleteI'm glad for the advent of the fall season . . . the smells, cooler temps, colors, etc. It's my favorite time of the year, and I especially love yard sales! We're getting ready to have a big one at our church. I probably won't buy anything, but I do love giving it a look.
ReplyDeleteThe table is looking great!
