A visit to nearby Pickle Factory

a stop at the park...

where we could run, play, and skip rocks....

and a stop at a friend's alpaca farm

for a demonstration

and hands on education in using a 2-pedaled spinning wheel!

Before the "Early Birthday Party" (hers is actually in a couple of weeks)

we garage-saled. Then some napped or played baseball with Grandpa.

We were unable to get the (cheap) birthday child's sewing machine up and running.

Maybe it was tired like Grandma?!?

Oh, it was SO good to see and hold and coo over healthy Silas!

I'll work at getting pictures of Elijah. It was hard to get him to hold still...

and I just realized I have NO pictures of him.

Next time the grandchildren come for a visit, I want to come too. It looked like lots of fun and garage sales too?! And cake? I'm gonna need to up my grandma game, LOL!!
Good for you Rebecca. Those are some beautiful children. I know how hard it can be to catch them with the camera, Jack is near impossible!
I can't wait to see more of Silas and am so glad that he is doing so much better, what a blessing. Have a beautiful weekend.

Boy! You packed A LOT into one day!!
Your grandchildren are beautiful! Each and every one of them!
And I love the difference in their actions and faces with each event!

Happy Birthday to your granddaughter! Nice that you could have an early celebration with her.

And, I so agree, I do see the Face of God in the face of my grandchildren.
