My parents are quite intentional about having their pictures taken together frequently.
We, on the other hand, have very few of ourselves.
And when they DO "happen" it is just that--happenstance!
This one was taken unbeknownst to us last Friday.
We were attending an office Christmas party - a Mystery Dinner Theater.
Here we are. Trying to decide Who Dun It!
Since it might be awhile until we have another photo of ourselves,
I decided to have a little fun.
I "picniked" it!
I sent it to our grandchildren labeled,
"Santa and his Mrs. are makin' a list and checkin' it twice!"
(Guess the cat's out of the bag now!)
(Guess the cat's out of the bag now!)
Usually I forget about picnik.
Glad I tried it today.
Have YOU tried picnik (or another photo enhancer)?
This is adorable! I love both photos of you two!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of picnik but I'm sure when I mention it to Ray or the kids they'll know exactly what it is!
This post made me smile!
Love and Prayers,
Eileen
PS ~ I keep thinking that I want to have us all 'professionally' photographed at one of our family gatherings the way you do it sometimes. I think that's a wonderful idea!
Love your caption with this photo. That's perfect!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, and have fun with those lists. :)
I never heard of picnik before, is it like photoshop? I like your explanation to your grandkids of Mr. and Mrs. Claus checking their list.
ReplyDeleteYes, Terra. Picnik comes up as one of my editing options with Picasa....
ReplyDeleteNever heard of picnik but I love the pictures! You're so creative, Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteWe use picnik all the time...
ReplyDeleteI love this photo of the two of you.

How brilliant of you! That was the perfect "unpose" for the appliction. I've never used Picnik, but I need to look into it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! Love these pictures of you and your hubby, with or without the Santa hats! Yes, I have used picnick, but just a few times...mostly to add text to a photo, although I should try to learn some of their other features too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my home tour. Wish you could come by for a real cup of coffee or tea...I'm sure we'd have lots to chat about!
Love this photo of you two and I loved that you sent it to your grandchildren. Hope all is going well......:-)Hugs
