The Stones are Shouting!

But Jesus answered, "If they keep quiet, these stones will start shouting."
Luke 19:40

I wish I could remember where I found this rock.  I have a few other heart-shaped rocks, but I doubt that I'll find another as "perfect" as this one.  Even its color is good - kind of darkish pink...

In October, my husband and I visited Victory Noll Center with its beautiful grounds, chapel, Stations of the Cross, and outdoor labyrinth.  All afternoon I had my eyes peeled for a heart-shaped rock to take home with me to remember the day.  Just when I had given up, my eyes fell on this SECOND rock!  The pairing of these two SHOUT at me!
For God so loved the world
that he gave
his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.
  (Jesus, in John 3:16)

Matthew 16:18 records Jesus saying,
"...on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

Oh, the love of God and cross of Jesus!
On this solid rock I stand.
All other ground IS sinking sand
Are you standing with me?
Have the rocks shouted anything at YOU lately?

 1.  a fresh, new day on which to write my thanks...and life and breath to write it with...
2 . beautiful weather yesterday and forecast for the same today!
 3.  opportunities to do good AND my family of faith.
 4.  truth received (loud and clear) via  My Utmost for His Highest today.

  4. I've never seen a heart shaped stone before. It's beautiful, and so is the cross. I think I might have to collect heart shaped stones... if I ever find some. :) I still have the rock that says FIRST STONE, and it is always a reminder.

  5. I love rocks. What wonderful timing our Lord has.
Before I even read "On this solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." I was thinking of the lyrics. I love singing it in church.
    Love Di ♥
