Isn't It Grand?

Three Grands came from Kansas to visit us!
We had a weiner roast -- then went to The Park.
This morning they'll go home to grow some more
until we get to see them again...
Yes.  It's been grand.

  1. I was all smiles looking at this until I read the last line, and a teardrop fell! It's so hard when they live so far away! Happy you were able to redeem the precious time you had with them and sounds like it was a GRAND day!

  2. Morning Rebecca,
Feels like ages since I have been by........
Thanks for coming by to see me and for your comforting comments and your prayers.
Have to say the last part of the week has been much better than the first, and we are seeing the Lord moves in a big way, so we are all very hopeful. Lots of discussion all week, between us and our daughter, she and her fiancee, and their counselor, so it is all good, and we feel the results will be all the better.
It really has been good having her here all week, but she will be going home today sometime.
She is doing much better now, and I am so grateful. I believe this will all just be a delayed delight when the wedding does occur.
They will have a much better start in life.

thanks so very much for your prayers, we have really felt and seen them!!

Looks like you have been having a very fun summer. Loved all those colorful houses, they are all so cute. So glad you had a great time
with your grand children, I know they were probably thrilled to see you both, as were you to see them.

Have a very blessed week ahead hon,
    Nellie

  4. Oh girl, you're talking my language! Whenever the grandchildren are around, I feel 25 years younger. When they leave, I feel 30 years older :)

What joy they are; and how they unleash a wave of love reserved in our hearts just for them.

    Enjoy!
