THIS TOO IS LIFE...

It seems unusually difficult to do it this year...for many reasons.  I will say no more lest I go into a political rant!  This was the scene at our dining room table last night.  Hopefully the task will be completed and the table cleared before today is ended.

This, too, is life.  Big sigh.  I guess it is also GODLINESS (see Matthew 22:21).

  1. After retiring, it seems to get a little easier Rebecca, especially if doing it online!
Then...there's the census to fill out and return! At least that's not every year!

  2. I have to give props to Ray, he does our tax returns every year, and he does them EARLY, as soon as he has all the paperwork, the taxes are done in early February.
If left to me, I'd be sitting here in the middle of a mess on April 14!

Good luck! I'll say a prayer.

  5. I agree with Wanda. It is easier when you are retired. Not owning much helps also. :)

  6. Well I am grateful for my husband as he always does this chore. It's been done already and a new central air unit has been purchased. Thank GOD!! Last summer was really hot in here. I hope your chore goes quickly and easily!

  7. My hubby dug in and did our taxes this weekend too. It definitely is a chore, especially after we found out we owe the government some money. YUCK!!! Hope yours was smoother...

  8. I don't think anyone likes filling out tax forms, I have someone do them for me and I still don't like tax time (probably because I have to pay more money every year).....Hugs

  9. I guess I'm spoiled - Steve does it every year and I never pay attention! Oh my, I'll be hurting if I ever have to do it myself! I'm counting my blessings... Jerie

  10. Lynn gets all of our info together and then we go to an accountant. They are a little complicated because of the farm business; then this year we settled dad's estate. But they are done--PTL!
