Taxes and Turkey

From this....

to this...
We worked together, each doing the part we were better suited to do...
sometimes checking each others addition, sometimes adding receipts simultaneously
on two separate calculators..
It felt good to get it done--organizing some papers and getting rid of others.
It's kind of like roasting a turkey at Thanksgiving.
It always sounds like such a big deal, but it isn't really that difficult.
(I'd take turkey over taxes ANY day, though.)
The orchid?
My first!  A gift from a house guest last Sunday night.
Isn't it beautiful?.

  7. We couldn't begin to do ours... I'm so very impressed! Glad to have ours done, although the state refund promises to be late in arriving. Why am I not surprised?!
