Is anyone else having trouble downloading (or is it uploading) pictures from Picassa or your other picture storage programs? I'm discouraged because my computer seems to take F.O.R.E.V.E.R. to let me make my selection. I have the same problem trying to cut something from the internet to paste to a word document.
Somehow I'd feel better if someone else was having the same problem. This is the first snag (virus?) I've had since beginning to blog a year ago.
I'm lost without pictures!
Rebecca I think Eileen and Diana have gone to somehing new blogger is offering for downloading pictures.....I am still using the old system. Why not check with them, perhaps they can help. Good Luck sweetie....:-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteI've gone to the new blogger settings and find it a lot more friendly. If you have not changed, got to you dashboard, then click on settings. From there scroll to near bottom of page where it says Global Settings. It will say "select post editor" click on the first option which is "updated editor".
ReplyDeleteIf you've already done that...I have nothing else to offer! Hope everything is working well soon, I know what you mean about pictures...I feel the same way!
I am still having problems, I was blaming it on my computer, but that has gotten a complete overhaul, and still I'm having problems. It's gotten a little better since we switched from Time Warner Cable to Verizon, but I think the problem lies with Blogger.
ReplyDeleteIt's very frustrating and makes me want to cry, "Uncle!" all the time.
I have something special I want to do, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have any problems with an upcoming post.
I'm also having problems accessing some blogs now and then. It makes me feel cut-off from people.
I'll say a prayer for you. Not being able to blog really does cut out a big piece of your life when you are so used to it!
Love to you,
Eileen
I think I'm up to date with the updated editor....But I continue to be open to all ideas! I'll try just about anything!
ReplyDeleteI just upload directly from my computer and not from Picassa, although I think directly from Picassa is suppose to be easier. I'm not having problems posting, but commenting is a different story sometimes. I haven't switched over to the new editor yet, for fear of creating a problem, although most likely...I will. Hope your problems clear up soon Rebecca!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this. I've been having problems too, and it was very frustrating! I'll try the update editor.
ReplyDeleteIt's blogger...it will eventually pass. Today I am getting an x where photos should be on the blogs I visit.
ReplyDeleteSigh...Blogger periodically digs its heels in, and gets obstinate...time often corrects the problem...but if it continues, perhaps a word on the blogger help page may elicit a response from blogger...Pray it works out for you...So frustrating!!! Love you, Janine XO
ReplyDeleteNo sweetie.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any problems since I switched to the new editor. But I upload my photos from my camera into a file. Then I just pick them from there. The only real problem I've had lately is that none of my blogger friends are here to help me paint!
ReplyDeleteBlogger does get finicky sometimes. I just wait a while and go back to it! Love Di ♥
P.S. For Wanda, you should switch. It's not that different just better and easier!
Funny to find this post, Rebecca. I don't have a blog; yet for the last few days, I've been unable to access photos through Picassa ;-(
ReplyDeleteJean
I had problems yesterday. I checked their "help" area; it's a "known issue" at this point, so don't fret; it's not you. It's them. Isn't it good when we can blame someone else?
ReplyDeleteAdorable grandkids. I so love dress up time!
