HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Actually, I just needed to get the picture of the meat off my radar.  In spite of the good buy earlier this week (see previous post),  I'm not a meat lover.  I use it sparingly in meals.  And the picture of raw meat was getting to me!

This is the menu board at the Higher Grounds Coffee House where I'll be meeting a friend this evening.  AND this morning I'm meeting another friend at another Higher Grounds location (unless the 2-hour school delay interferes with our plan).

For today at least, Coffee Houses will be my "home away from home".

"Let us consider how to STIR UP one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near"  HeBREWS 10:24-25 (ESV).

  1. You seem to appreciate coffee as much as I do...I live too far out to visit coffee houses often, so I try to create the 'coffees' and atmosphere here at home! Enjoy your visits there today, Rebecca!

  4. Godiva Chocolate and Coffee! All in one cup?!
I wish I was there. My morning meeting got canceled as I thought it might when I heard "school delay". Turns out one of her sons was also sick, so we'll reschedule. We try to meet every other week. I think I am still "on" for tonight.

  6. A few years ago our church planned to put up a coffee house, and someone's bright idea was to name it He Brews Coffee!

I just love coffee houses. One soon discovers that coffee lovers somehow belong to a distinct breed of people... and if you lived anywhere near me, you'd always be welcome at my home for a cookie and a freshly brewed mug of coffee.

Hope your cup today was overflowing!
