This morning I met a friend for coffee. She treated me since she had a buy one/get one free coupon! Then we went to two of my favorite thrift stores. These are just three of several bargains I found this morning. The price was definitely right!
A beautiful tin to add to my collection...
...a simple oil painting on canvas
...the satin side of a pillow case
LOVE...love...love the pillow.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, andrea
Rebecca...I didn't know you collected tins.
ReplyDeleteWhat great finds...and lovely that you were able to spend time with a friend. My wish for you is for a lovely day every day.
Hugs,
Jackie
Such beautiful finds my friend.
ReplyDeleteTheir colors even compliment each other Rebecca!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, the other side is just as pretty (and has even more blue on it. It is homemade and the stitching inside is beautiful, too).
ReplyDeleteWanda--Yes. I always seem to gravitate towards blue.
ReplyDeleteJackie, I'm embarrassed to say how many I have. (Well over 50.) It's probably time to see if I can sell the whole collection!
ReplyDeleteOooooo how nice Rebecca! I love the tin. I have several myself, all from thrift store!

Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteWill you share where these Thrift stores are? I only know of the Dove's Nest on Stellhorn and of course, Goodwill. I love those places.
Beautiful treasures! I love them all! The rose painting is wonderful, I like to try and imagine who painted it. Yellow roses are my favorite and they look so pretty next to the dark blue background.
ReplyDeleteSo nice all those things found a sweet home with you!
Enjoy!
Love to you,
Eileen
Have you decided where you are going to hang your oil painting? You find some great things.
ReplyDeleteI did get blessed with finding two great books at Goodwill but not much else.
Wish we had more thrift shops, although there is one that I haven't tried yet.
blessings and hugs,
marcy
For my Fort Wayne thrifting friend (I can't access your blog or profile, so I hope you check back here), I reluctantly tell you my "secret" shops :) St. Vincent de Paul on South Clinton, and the Rescue Mission thrift store (I THINK it's called Rescued Treasures - but never pay close attention -) on Lafayette, also south. It is only open Wednesdays through Saturday. These are GREAT places. Dove's Nest is the one I often buy my 50 cent clothing items at....There is also a thrift store in Hicksville--Bargain Box.
