A few minutes later, another dear friend, Liz, arrived with her husband, daughter, and three friends they had invited. I cannot find the right words to describe the support and encouragement that friends extend to me.
Christmas decorations adorn a house (and I saw many WONDERFUL homes on two holiday housewalks that we fit in this past weekend). But friends adorn one's life! I thank God that I am all decked out with friends this Christmas!
Christmas decorations adorn a house, but friends adorn one's life.
AMEN!

Rebecca, to have a friend one must first be a friend and you are a friend to so many.
ReplyDeleteBlessings my sweet friend.....:-) Hugs
I feel blessed to have you as a friend that God connected me with via a blog. I would like to have been at your open house with Donna. What a cute idea to display nativity sets. I will have to share this idea with some of the church ladies at my church for a possible idea for next year.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes. So nicely stated.
ReplyDeleteFriends are a treasure. And I'm very privileged to have your friendship as well.
ReplyDeleteBlogging friends...such as you Rebecca...are a treasure to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous "feature": friends! Besides family, they are truly the most precious of our blessings.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you & yours,
Kathleen
Friends truly are a treasure, and how nice for you to tell them!
ReplyDeleteI like that, decorating my home and my life with friends! What a rich variety I host in my life; everything from "colorful and loud" to "soft and serene." All vibrant in their texture and tone... all making my life the beautiful tapestry it is.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to make a list of my "decorations" and think about them in colors/styles. Great idea (even if you didn't mean to take me there)...
