Women of Faith

Indianapolis. Arrived this morning and spent the day with friends and 12,000 other women. This is my first Women of Faith Conference. I'm glad I came. Peppy music, entertaining speakers. Some good advice thrown in. I particularly enjoyed hearing a much-slimmed-down Sandi Patty sing some beautiful songs. Steven Curtis Chapman also did a mini-concert this evening. Our first hotel encounter was a nightmare! Reservations had been disregarded. The smoking rooms offered us had worse problems than the smoke odor! But now the four of us are sharing a nice, king bed suite at Comfort Suites.

I went to a Women of Faith conference in Oklahoma City one time. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Glad you could go. Glad the hotel situation is better! Blessings!

Sounds like a wonderful confeence and maybe the first accommodations were to put you in a spirit of openness and forgiveness and patience.

THE BLOGGER'S PRAYER Lord, help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me, dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
