Our cabin - the CHRISTMAS cabin....

Someday I'll show you inside. But for today, let me introduce "the cabin". A retreat place in our back yard. It is a third bedroom, a place to study, a place to rest, a place to replenish the soul. It sits just a few steps from our back porch, but it feels miles away from the busy highway that runs in front of our home. It's always CHRISTMAS inside. And it's always available for an hour or two (or even an overnight) away!

  1. Oh, to have such a place... What a special gift for you and others who come to visit! We live in the city and how I long for a place such as that (though I'm seeking God's creativity ~ for I know He's able to do so even here). I shall look forward to seeing the inside when you share someday ~ and I shall imagine the peace of the place by just looking at the picture. Thanks for sharing. :)

  2. It IS a gift! Amish-built; finished inside by my husband and father. And, YES! God makes places of refreshment for us in very unlikely places. Remember the vine/Jonah?
