63rd Wedding Anniversary

(Of course, there was a little behind-the-scenes grooming going on before picture taking.)

My sister and brother-in-law had sent this beautiful bouquet to congratulate our parents.

We visited, ate lunch together and played one of our favorite card games - "Sevens".

Tomorrow is their anniversary. I'm very blessed to have both of my parents living, sound of mind and faithful and enthusiastic in their love for the Lord Jesus.

Oh what beautiful photos Rebecca. You can see the love radiating from their hearts from your photos. And how old were they when they married? They look so young to be married for 63 years! Congratulations to them both!

How proud you must be! As I looked at your mom and dad's joyful faces, I could see my own mother and dad in them. Mind have had 57 years together, both are 78 years old, and people can't believe their ages. They took good care of each other and themselves; my dad still goes to the office! LOL! He would be lost without something to do.

What a tremendous blessing to have both of your parents alive, well and loving Jesus. I am sure there is much to glean from there many, many years of marriage and life experiences. May the Lord continue to bless and keep them in this world to be lights for His glory.
