Oh well, love the new parsonage, so I'll cope.

peace~elaineelaine @ peace for the journeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09675745465728814736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-163092593778837151.post-89682124564980752892010-07-25T06:41:55.294-04:002010-07-25T06:41:55.294-04:00What a great post this is - the pictures before an...What a great post this is - the pictures before and after, and the glorious possibilities ahead of you now that this tree is gone.

I loved the way you connected it to that Ezekiel verse.

Love
LidjCrown of Beautyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08993686012020045284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-163092593778837151.post-57056465535135693532010-07-22T08:41:38.149-04:002010-07-22T08:41:38.149-04:00Glad you made the decision to get rid of the tree....Glad you made the decision to get rid of the tree. (I did enjoy the cobbler, however). I "picked" blueberries at WalMart yesterday and will freeze them today. (I was going to go to a blueberry farm, but these were cheaper than I could pick them, said they were from Michigan, and tasted good, so I just bought them.) My point was, maybe I could make you a blueberry cobbler!Donna's Book Nookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01773255972057253713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-163092593778837151.post-50516098044424020182010-07-22T06:11:07.664-04:002010-07-22T06:11:07.664-04:00I also can be sentimental about cutting down beaut...I also can be sentimental about cutting down beautiful trees but I understand when it is necessary as well and this certainly sounds like it was! There was a sadness, because most of the grandkids had picked mulberries there. It was a young tree and safe for them to climb, but it eventually overgrew it's place. There are a few other large ones on the property that the birds enjoy, but they drop the seeds all over and little trees sprout where not wanted and do they grow fast! :)Wanda.....https://www.blogger.com/profile/00551160819558198338noreply@blogger.com
