Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. ~~ Melody Beattie I can't remember when this picture wasn't a part of my memory bank. Currently, it has a place in our dining area. I have learned that Eric Enstrom is the creator of this picture--but he didn't paint it; he photographed it. It's a picture of Charles Wilden taken in the early 1900's. Eventually Enstom's daughter, Rhoda Nyberg, made copies of the original photograph in oil paint.
The name of this painting is "Grace".
